JULIA DIANA LOZANO DE MORENO JULY 1, 1919 - APRIL 30, 2015 Julia Diana Lozano de Moreno, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the age of 95. Mrs. Moreno was born in Laredo, Texas but was raised in Lampazos de Naranjo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Genaro H.F. Moreno-Serra; baby daughter Maria del Socorro Moreno; parents, Manuel Lozano-Tamez and Praxedis Julia Garcia-Rogers; siblings, Emelia Josefina L. (Alfredo) Dominguez, Manuel (Esperanza) Lozano, Jesus Luis (Connie) Lozano, Maria Prax L. Giddens, and sister-in-law Alice Diou Lozano. She is survived by her children, Maria Antonieta Moreno Dally, Maria Julia M. (George) Alvarez, Maria Teresa Moreno Garza, Genaro Manuel (Theresa) Moreno, Gabriela M. (Rudy) Ramirez; grandchildren, Henri Dally II, Marcus A. (Mayra) Dally, John E. (Angelica) Dally, Robert S. (Melanie) Dally, Julia Diana A. (Chad) Busse, Samuel Genaro Alvarez, Julia Diana G. (Scott) Bailey, Claudio A. Garza, Genaro D. (Lacey) Moreno, Melissa M. (Chad) Leksan, Nicolas Logan Moreno, Ana Gabriela (Lance Roesch) Ramirez, Maribel Ramirez, and Victoria Ramirez, 24 great grandchildren; her younger brother Francisco Jose Lozano, and sister in law Perla Echeverria. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. The Moreno family wishes to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the people who helped care for our mother. Special thanks to Dr. Winder Vasquez, Dr. Dennis Cantu, Excellent Nursing Care: Cata and Petronilo Morin, South Texas Primary Care: Melissa, Frances, Sonia, Sylvia and Jose Luis, Bronze Star Ambulance Service, A-Touch Home Health: Sarah, and caregivers: Maria Cardenas, Maria Elena, and Maria Larralde. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Procession will depart Joe Jackson Heights at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
