Juana Zulema Fonseca, 84, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Mrs. Juana Fonseca is preceded in death by her husband, Santiago Fonseca, Sr.; parents, Agripino Luna and Josefina Rendon, and brother, Luis Rendon. She is survived by her children, Luis Armando (Maria Guadalupe) Fonseca, Santiago (Teresa) Fonseca Jr., Javier (Mara A. "Blanca") Fonseca, Diana (Rene Mario Sr.) Valdez, Oscar Eric (Mara Guadalupe) Fonseca; grandchildren, Luis Armando Fonseca Jr., Veronica (Gabriel Sr.) Melve, Santiago (Sonja) Fonseca III, Armando Fonseca, Francisco Javier Fonseca, Danyela Maryel Fonseca, Rene Mario Valdez Jr., Roel Marcos Valdez, Roque Miguel Valdez, Rocio Mirabelle Valdez, Oscar Eric Fonseca Jr.; great-grandchildren, Clarissa (Anthony Jason Sr.) Hernandez, Gabriel Melve, Jr., Gina Victoria Melve, Alissa Fonseca, Alvan Fonseca; great-great-grandchild, Anthony Jason Hernandez, Jr., and her brother, Oscar (Blanca) Trevio. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 departing the funeral home at 8:30 am to San Agustin Cathedral for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
