Mr. Juan M. Sanchez, 72, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 7, 2019.
Mr. Sanchez was a devoted father and husband. He was married to his loving wife of 55 years of marriage, Estela Ramon Sanchez. He was a family man who strongly believed in, “Family always comes first”, along with being the life of the party. Mr. Sanchez worked as a banker for LNB from ’69-’79 and then with Zapata National Bank from 1979-2008. He was an active member of Cursillo, and in his spare time enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by parents, Raul and Hortencia Sanchez; brothers, Raul Sanchez, Humberto (Cecilia) Sanchez; and brother-in-law Guadalupe Gutierrez.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Estela Ramon Sanchez; children, Sara (Carlos) Garza, Juan Manuel (Mileth) Sanchez, Jr., Sylvia (Martin Longoria) Sanchez, Rebecca Sanchez; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Anselmo Sanchez, Nydia Gutierrez, Fernando (Severita) Sanchez, Gabriel (Teresa) Sanchez, Hortencia (Reyes) Herrera, and Yolanda (Raul) Uscanga; along with other loving relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, September 11, 2019 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home, 2102 US-83, Zapata, TX. 78076; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning, September 12, 2019 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
