JUAN G. MELENDEZ, SR. April 27, 1959 - March 23, 2015 Juan G. Melendez, Sr., 55, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 23, 2015. Mr. Melendez was a great father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He was an avid fisherman, and a very devoted servant of the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cipriano Agustin and Rosenda Melendez. He is survived by his sons, Juan G. Melendez, Jr., Alfredo Melendez, Rolando Melendez; grandson Rolando Melendez, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Jorge (Sylvia) Melendez, Sara Vasquez, Jaime (Ana) Melendez, Melissa (Roberto) Viera, Gabriela Melendez, and Xochitl Melendez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel, 719 Loring from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening.
