NOVEMBER 4, 1928 – DECEMBER 23, 2017

Josefina C. Vitela, 89, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 23, 2017.

Josefina was preceded in death by her husband, Monico Vitela and her son, Ismael Vitela.

She is survived by her beloved children, Samuel Vitela and Brenda Ferrero†, Daniel (Maria J.) Vitela, Rosa M. (Anthony) Rangel, Raul (Romana Moreno) Vitela, David (Araceli) Vitela, Ruben Vitela, Margarita Vitela, Maria G. Vitela, Arnoldo (Maria H.) Vitela, Hilda Vitela, and Teresa Vitela. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other beloved family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. Prayer Service will be at 7 in the evening with Pastor Nahum Martinez officiating.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Procession will form and immediately depart to the burial site.

Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
