Jose Texas

Mr. Jose Lopez, 93, passed away on October 22, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his loving family at his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Felix and Josefa Lopez; Daughter: Diana Lopez-Espinola; Brothers: Idelfonso Lopez, Federico Lopez, and Felix Lopez; Sisters: Gregoria Lopez. Antonia Lopez Rendon, Celia Lopez, and Hortencia Lopez Esparza.

Surviving him is his spouse: Nicolasa C. Lopez; children: Jorge Alberto (Cherlyn) Lopez, Maria Yolanda (Byron) Lopez-Reed, Rosa Maria (Raul) Lopez-Villarreal, Jose Luis (Francelia) Lopez, Rita (Terry) Lopez-Tice, David Lopez and Javier (Brenda) Lopez. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Laura Angelica, Jorge Alberto Jr., and Joseph Michael Lopez; Nikole Lorraine, and Shawn Alexander Reed; Rachel, Raul Mario Jr., and Sandra Renee Villarreal; Jose Luis Lopez Jr.; Anthony Joel and Sonia Camille Tice; Rebekah, and Erik Jonathan Espinola; Jacqueline Sabrina Lopez; as well as by numerous great-grandchildren and two brothers: Jesus Lopez and Oscar Lopez, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences the morning of Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 9 a.m. until Noon in the chapel of Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.

A religious talk will commence at Noon and will be led by Elder Pete Paredes.

Procession will form and depart immediately at 1:15 pm to the Laredo City Cemetery for the graveside service, led by Elder Gil Lopez.

Pallbearers will be: Jorge Alberto Lopez, Jose Luis Lopez, David Lopez, Javier Lopez, Raul Mario Villarreal Jr., Jose Luis Lopez Jr., Anthony Joel Tice, Shawn Alexander Reed, Erik Jonathan Espinola, and Aaron Lopez.
