It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Trevino, Jr., a dedicated Border Patrol Agent who served his country with honor and integrity. Born on October 8, 1941, Jose dedicated 31 years of his life to protecting our borders and ensuring the safety of our communities. He retired as the Agent in Charge of the South Border Patrol Station, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonia and Jose S. Treviño, Sr.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 58 years of marriage, Hilda L. Treviño; his children, Omar (Julie) Treviño, and Marco Treviño; his granddaughters, Adriana Elizabeth Treviño, and Gabrielle Grace Treviño; his siblings, Roy (Elvie) Treviño, and Loli (Frank) Hinojosa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, May 29, 2024 at St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to meet at the church.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider making a donation to: Casa Misericordia, Mercy Ministries, and Shriners Children’s Hospital.
