God took our angel, our loving father, and our everything, José Alberto Ros to his heavenly kingdom on Thursday, January 30, 2014. He passed away doing what he loved; he was employed as an oil field worker and deeply enjoyed his profession which included hydraulic fracking. As a family man he was very fond of spending time with his children and especially his granddaughter, whom he affectionately called his little "princess". He always enjoyed being surrounded by his family, having weekend barbeques, enjoying drinks and even playing poker. He always gave of himself unconditionally and was quick to offer advice and friendship whenever someone was in need. He was the source of our life and was adored by so many. He was taken from us without a single goodbye but we know that someday we will meet with him again. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ofelia Saucedo Ros and his maternal grandfather, José Saucedo. José Alberto is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years of marriage, Cynthia Ros; three sons, Alejandro (Jolyn) Ros, José Alberto Ros, Jr., and Javier Abelardo Ros; his only daughter, Jasmin Areli Ros; his adored granddaughter and his "princess", Kayleen Desiree Garca; goddaughter, Samantha N. Medina; father, Rubén (Hortencia) Ros, Sr.; sister, San Juanita (Reynaldo) De La Cruz; and brothers, Rubén (Barbara) Ros, Martin Ros, Dagoberto Ros, and Juan Luis (Valerie) Ros; and his cousin who was like a brother to him, Erik "Gordo" (Maricela) Gonzlez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 03, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel, 1410 Jacaman Rd.
