JOSE REFUGIO RAMIREZ, JR.

June 18, 1948 – October 19, 2023

Jose Refugio “Cuco” Ramirez, Jr., 75, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Jose Refugio Ramirez, Sr. and Adela Treviño Ramirez.

Left to cherish his memory are: his wife, Nora G. Ramirez; children, Nora Brenda Ramirez, Cesar Aaron (Olinda) Ramirez, and Estella Anel (Carlos Macasaet) Ramirez; grandchildren, Eduardo Daniel Ramirez and Olivia Marie Ramirez; siblings, Graciela Ramirez (Mario) Vidaurri, Armando (Celia M.†) Ramirez, and Roberto † (Maria Concepcion B.) Ramirez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday evening, October 24, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, October 25, 2023 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Flag detail will be provided by the U.S. Army and the American Legion will be providing the Full Military Honors.
