Jose M. Benavides (Joe B.) will be remembered as a man of faith, who valued family and his service to the community. Born in Laredo, Texas on September 17, 1963. Joe was a devoted catholic and the youngest of nine children. He grew fond of music and was in numerous bands such as, “Los Amigos de Laredo”, “Jerry G and the Badd Boyz band”, and “La Formula Band”. Joe enjoyed playing the bass in the “conjunto” style. He played in many weddings and quinceaneras and did special Mother's Day serenades.
