Mr. Jose (Joe) Guadalupe Gutierrez, 60, was called to his heavenly home the evening of Thursday the 16th of March 2017. Mr. Gutierrez was a long-time resident of Mirando City, Texas.
Mr. Gutierrez was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, where he served his country with pride. He also happily dedicated his time and work to Werner Enterprises in Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Domingo and Elia Bazan Gutierrez; brothers, Ramon (Maria Elena) Gutierrez, Isidro Gutierrez, Domingo Gutierrez III, Roberto Gutierrez, Domingo Gutierrez, Jr.; sisters, Sulema G. Chapa, Antonia Muñoz, and Maria del Rosario Lerma.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Raquel Gutierrez; his sons, Jose Rene (Vanessa Valdez) Gutierrez and Jesus Ramon Gutierrez; grand-daughters, Jaelynne and Alison Gutierrez; sisters, Elia (Sammy) Nava, Rosa Hernandez, Rebecca Gracia, Tomasa Gutierrez, Juanita (Florencio) Lopez, Elida Rodriguez and sister-in-law, Molly Gutierrez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences the evening of Thursday the 23rd of March 2017, at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez; with a Rosary being recited at 7 in the evening.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 2017, departing the funeral home at 9:40 a.m. to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass at 10:00 a.m.
Cremation service will be held at a later date.
