JOSE M. AGUILAR

January 10, 1929 - January 2, 2016

Mr. Jose M. Aguilar, 86, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 2, 2016. Mr. Jose M. Aguilar was born on January 10, 1929 in Laredo, Texas to parents, Valeriano Aguilar and
Estela Macias Aguilar. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier for 39 ½ years.

He is preceded in death by parents Valeriano and Estela M. Aguilar, daughters: Ana Maria Aguilar and Aurora Aguilar.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years of marriage Francisca G

. Aguilar; his children Angelica Esquivel, Alicia (Luciano) Ramon, Amalia Aguilar, Jose Alberto (Ana) Aguilar, Alejandro (Amira) Aguilar, and Adriana (Alonzo) Salinas; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings Eduardo M. Aguilar, Estela M. Aguilar, and Isabel M. Aguilar, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to First Aide Home Health for their attention to his medical needs, as well as his primary care physician Adonis Zuniga Goldwater.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 4 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2015 departure will be at 8:40 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 109 N. Meadow Ave. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jose A. Aguilar, Alejandro Aguilar, Chris Aguilar, Jose A. Aguilar, Jr., Alonzo Salinas, Andrew Aguilar, Ben Hernandez and Marc Esquivel.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow to the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
