Jorge Trujillo, 77, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
Jorge was a dedicated Interstate Driver for 27 years before his retirement. He pursued his passion for art and painting after earning a Bachelor's Degree in social studies from Pan American University.
Jorge was known for his love of fishing and his creative spirit. He always found joy in creating beautiful art pieces and spending time outdoors, especially on fishing trips. His warm smile and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his son, Omar Trujillo; his mother, Maria de Jesus Trujillo; his sister, Gloria Trujillo.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 32 years of marriage, Trinidad Goscicki; his children, Rene (Jessica) Trujillo, Marc Trujillo, and Kim (Rolando) Gutierez, Jr.; his grandchildren, Micah Trujillo, Aris Trujillo, Ivan Villarreal, Alexandra Gutierrez, and Rolando Gutierrez, III.; his brothers, Ignacio (Belen) Trujillo, and Pepe (Rosalinda) Trujillo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, June 26, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 6 p.m.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning, June 27, 2024 departing at 9:15 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Agustin Cathedral for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
A private cremation will be held at a later date.
Pallbearers will be: Rolando Gutierrez, Jr., Ivan Villarreal, Rene Trujillo, Marc Trujillo, Ignacio Trujillo, Pepe Trujillo, and Tommy Trujillo.
The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to: Dr. Luis Benavides and Staff, Regent Care Center, Doctors Hospital of Laredo, Nurses on Wheels, Laredo Wound Care, and Dr. Manuel Gonzalez.
