Jorge Luis Gaona, Sr.

April 25, 1952 – September 5, 2024

Mr. Jorge Luis Gaona, Sr., 72, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, September 5, 2024. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Jorge Luis Gaona Jr., and his parents, Jesus and Gregoria Gaona.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings: Blanca Duarte and Jose Angel (Rosario) Gaona; nephews, David Duarte, Rebeca Duarte, Marco Soto, Daniel Soto, Jose Gaona and Andres Lomas; nieces, Veronica Gaona and Iris Gaona. He is also survived by great-nephews and great-nieces and other loving relatives and friends. 

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, September 11, 2024, from 5pm to 9pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday morning, September 12, 2024 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels at 11:00 a.m. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 11:40 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
