Jorge Arce

Mr. Jorge Alberto Arce, 53, entered the kingdom of heaven surrounded by his parents, brothers and sisters, at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, on Friday, October 19, 2012.

Jorge was a kind and generous, loving man who always put others before his own worldly desires.-He was a true gentleman and wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend.-Although his parting leaves us a tremendous void in our hearts, we do know that now, he is at peace, humbly looking over us from his heavenly place.

George, as family and friends called him, is a graduate of St. Augustine High School, Class of 1977.-As a manager of Stripes convenience stores, where he had been employed since the mid 70's when it was known as Maverick Markets, George enjoyed the opportunity to associate with his co-workers and members of the community.

He is survived by his parents:-Jose Leonel Arce, Sr. and Maria de Lourdes Moctezuma Arce.

Brothers and sisters:-Jose Leonel Arce, Jr., Maria de Lourdes (Agustin) Luna, Adriana Elena Arce, Anna Clarissa Arce, Margarita Cecilia Arce, Carlos Javier (Roxanne) Schroeder-Arce, Jaime Gerardo (Esmeralda) Arce, Monica Luisa (Joe Martinez) Arce and Roberto Esteban Arce, as well as 14 nieces and nephews, and 7 grand nieces and nephews.-Among his surviving aunts, whom he so dearly loved, are:-Audelia Vaughn, Hortencia Garcia, and Nora Sansoni.-He is further survived by an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, other loved relatives and close friends.
