Jesus Santiago Mier

July 25, 1937-April 12, 2022

Mr. Jesus Santiago Mier, 84, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Mier Martinez and Jovita Uribe Gamboa; and granddaughter Alyssa Lamar Martinez.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Maria Magdalena B. Mier; children, Lamar (Mario) Mier-Martinez, San Juanita Mier, Jesus (Ariadna) S. Mier, Jr.; grandchildren, Sophia Martinez, Jesus S. Mier III, Alyanna Mier, Aleena Mier; and his sister Irma Mier Aguirre.  He is also survived and loved by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday evening, April 18, 2022 from 5pm to 9pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning, April 19, 2022 departing at 8:00 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers Will be: Diego Castro, Mario Martinez Jr., Jesus Mier Jr, Jesus Mier III, Ramiro Escamilla and Jose Jara, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: David Cabello, Antonio Meza
