Jesus Gustavo Arizola

Jesus Gustavo Arizola, 73, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Gustavo’s life was marked by family, love, bravery and laughter. There was never a time he said no to his family. His support for his children was unwavering. He was charismatic and greeted everyone with a smile and a joke. He overcame challenges in his life with strength and demonstrated nothing but bravery in the end. He was admired and will be remembered for that and so much more.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Lorenza Arizola; his brothers, Sergio Arizola, and Benito Arizola.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Elvida “Deedee” (Daniel) Cantu, Anna Arizola, Gustavo (Star) Arizola, Liliana (Jorge) Treviño, and Denise (Jonathan) Alamilla; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Angelina Niera, Roberto Arizola, Irma Arizola, Oscar “Nando” Arizola, Maricela Maldonado, Armando Arizola, and San Juanita “Janie’ Arizola; mother of his children Ana Maria Solis; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, December 8, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Celebration of Life will commence at 7 p.m.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
