JESUS FLORES JR. August 21, 1940 - October 12, 2015 God called upon the soul of Jesus Flores Jr. to rest on Monday, October 12, 2015. Jesus was surrounded by his loving family when God called him home and will forever be in the arms of our heavenly father. In 1965, he started a roofing business with his father and brothers; and later continued the business with his beloved son, Juan Jose Flores. He was also the founder of Eagle Roofing Materials, where he distributed roofing materials to builders and contractors. Aside from being a hard worker, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who had a big heart and loved to help others whenever he could. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jesus and Adela Flores; and his granddaughter, Audrey Romero. Jesus is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Irma V. Flores; children, Juan Jose (Vanessa) Flores, Irma Linda Flores, Michelle (David) Madrigal, Robert (Cristy) Martinez, Abby (Ricardo) Villarreal, Angelica Flores, Leticia Flores, Adela Flores, Jesus Flores III, Joel Flores; 24 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Joe (Dolores) Flores, Juan Flores, Jose Maria (Patricia) Flores, Jaime (Yolanda) Flores, Javier Flores, Adela Flores, Rosario (Oscar) Nio; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Oscar Perez and his staff as well as Altus Hospice for their kindness, patience, and dedication that they provided to our beloved Jesus. The family will receive condolences Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd., with a Rosary scheduled to commence at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning, October 16, 2015 departing at 8 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. Interment will then follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
