Javier Tamez, 64, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Enriqueta Tamez; brothers, Antonio Tamez III, Albert Tamez; and sister Josefina Tamez.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Juanita (Eduardo +) Lopez, Juan (Josefina) Tamez, Andrea (Ramiro) Morales, Humberto (Hermelinda) Tamez, Paula (Antonio) Leven, Jesus (Dolores) Tamez, Maria Magdalena (Roberto) Gallegos, Manuel (Diana) Tamez, Guadalupe (Paulo) Gallegos, Alfonso (Sara) Tamez, Carlos (Irma) Tamez, and Maria Luisa (Faustino) Tijerina.  He is also survived by numerous other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday morning, November 8, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be held at 8:30 a.m.  The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Tamez, Humberto Tamez, Manuel Tamez, Jesus Tamez, Alfonso Tamez, and Carlos Tamez.
