Javier Alberto Lira, 52, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Javier Lira is preceded in death by his father Benito Lira.

He is survived by his wife Maria Teresa Johnson; his son, Javier (Judy Lynn) Lira, Jr., his extended children, Yesenia (Armando) Vergara. Monica (Ramiro) Ramos, Mariza (Eric) Estrada, Merced (Myra) Johnson, Alberto Johnson, and Griselda (Jaime) Laurel; his mother Amelia Lira; and his brother Benito Lira, Jr. He is also survived by numerous loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017, from 5 to 9 in the evening at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez; a Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 21, 2017 departing the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. to St. Agnes Catholic Church in Mirando City, Texas for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City.
