JAMES ALTUS STANLEY

October 15, 1935 - June 19, 2016

James Altus Stanley left this earth on June 19, 2016 to join his beloved wife Linda Stanley for eternity. He was born on October 15, 1935 to John and Elsie Stanley. James led a full life dedicated to his family and law enforcement.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Kaharl of Houston, Texas, James Stanley and his wife Silvia of San Antonio, Texas, and Susan Stanley and her husband, Ramiro Ramirez of Laredo, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jonathan Kaharl, Matthew Trevio, Samantha Trevio, Nicholas Trevio, Sarah Stanley, and Kelly Stanley.

He was many things to many people but to his family he was our beloved father, protector, and teacher. We will miss him forever.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
