James Haynes, Jr.

James Haynes, Jr. was born in Laredo, Texas to James Haynes, Sr. and Maria Luisa O. Haynes on August 26, 1927 and went to be with our Lord on September 14, 2011.

It was during his college education that he left to volunteer and serve this wonderful nation at the age of 17.-He enlisted the US Navy where he proudly served during World War II, after which he was Honorably Discharged.

He was an attorney and businessman with an active practice up until the time of his death.-He along with his brothers, Robert and Richard Haynes, and his sister, Nora Lee Haynes Notzon were instrumental on the newly created The James and Maria Luisa Haynes Recreation and Wellness Center as a tribute to his parents.-For the past 14 years he served as a Chairman of the Haynes Mineral Trust.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maria Luisa; brothers, Robert and Richard Haynes, son-in-laws, Thomas Bullock and Alejandro Zuniga; and grandson, Steven Joseph.

Mr. Haynes is survived by his wife, Martha Haynes and his children: Jaymeson Joseph Haynes and Deborah Lee Haynes; James Haynes, III, Cynthia Denise Zuniga, Mark Steven Haynes, Robert Gerard (Apryl) Haynes, Francine Bernadette (Thomas) Pickle, Mary Louise (Juan Antonio) Gonzalez, Margaret Rose (Craig) Spiser, John Michael (Diane) Haynes, Annette Yvonne (William) Bruetsch, Monica Irene (Charles Tubb) Haynes, Richard Martin (Shannon) Haynes, Angela Christine (Oscar) Chapa; his grandchildren, James Haynes IV, Judd Haynes, Brady Haynes, Victor Zuniga, Stephanie Purser, Michael Andrew Zuniga, Phillip Zuniga, Mark Steven Haynes II, Aaron Haynes, Travis Haynes, Austin Haynes, Michelle Haynes, Jessica Jenks, Tiffany Pickle, Kristopher Pickle, Tony Gonzalez, Jr., Alex Gonzalez, Catherine Rose Gonzalez, Amber Bullock, Thomas Bullock, Lauren Bullock, Michael Haynes, Daniel Haynes, Timothy Haynes, Matthew Haynes, Billy Bruetsch, Stephen Joseph, Richard Haynes, Jr. and David Haynes; his great-grandchildren, Piper Haynes, Adelaide Joel Haynes, Anthony Zuniga, Christopher Zuniga, Blake Lucas Boirie, Alexa Gonzalez, and Jacob Gonzalez. He is further survived by his sister Nora Lee (Marcel) Haynes Notzon; sisters-in-law, Anna Haynes and Rosa Imelda Haynes as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Gerard Haynes, Jaymeson Joseph Haynes, Austin Tyler Haynes, Thomas Craig Bullock, Mark Steven Haynes, Brady Daniel Haynes, Richard Martin Haynes and John Michael Haynes.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Irvin Greenblum, Richard Ortiz, Rolando Raymond and Marcel C. Notzon, II.
