Isidra Vitela, 88 years of age entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 15, 2015 with her family by her side. 2 Timoteo:cap 4:7 "He peleado la Buena batalla, He acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe." Verso 8 "Por lo demas, me esta guardada la corona de justicia, la cual me dara el Senor, juez justo, en aquel dia; y no solo a mi, sino tambien a todos los que aman su venida." Amen. She was a devoted servant of the Lord who faithfully attended Iglesia Evangelica Cristiana Espiritual. The family would like to thank Minister Nemias Sarellana; Dr. Norberto Alvarez, BronzeStar Ambulance Service, Heavenly Nurses Home Heath, the Nurses of LMC's 5th Floor, as well as those who offered prayers and words of support. Isidra Vitela was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Carmen Vitela; son, Inocente Vitela; parents, Francisco and Susana Benavente; brothers, Alcario, Juan, Miguel, Filimon, Francisco, and Manuel Benavente; and sister, Adelayda Benavente. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Elia (Manuel) Fuentes, Soledad Vitela, Gloria Amaya, Maria Del Carmen Vitela, Blanca Vitela, and Maria "Susy" Vitela; sons, Luis (Imelda) Vitela, Hector (Veronica) Vitela, and Arturo A. Vitela; sisters, Catalina Marquez and Agapita Benavente; brother, Lucio Benavente; as well as by 33 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Road from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Prayer Service will be held at 6 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels for a Chapel service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
