Isabel Rodriguez

Isabel Morlett Rodrguez, 90, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother peacefully passed away at the Laredo Medical Center on Thursday, November 24, 2011 following a dauntless battle with cancer for over fifteen years.

She was born November 19, 1921 in Laredo, Texas to Manuel and Benita Morlett. Warmly referred to as "Chavelita" and "Hermana Rodrguez", she was a devout and faithful member of Templo Cristiano for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Monico Rodrguez; her brothers, Jose, Pablo and Manuel Mortlett; and her sisters, Mara del Refugio Castro and Consuelo Vasquez.

Isabel is survived by her daughters, Mara del Carmen Martinez, Norma Navarro (Javier), and Magdalena Paiz (Martin); her sons, Mario Rodrguez (Toni) and Gerardo Rodrguez (Avelina); her sister, Irene Leos; and her brother-in-law, Octaviano Vasquez, Jr. She is further survived by over 15 adored grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, in addition to numerous friends and relatives.
