Hipolito Barreda, Jr.

Mr. Hipolito "Polo" Barreda, Jr., 66, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 1, 2011,-in San Antonio, TX in the comfort of home and family.-

He is preceded in death by his parents:-Hipolito & Nicolasa Barreda, Sr. and father-in-law Roberto Flores, Sr.; siblings:-Amparo B. Benavides, Roberto Barreda;-brothers-in-law: Porfirio Alvarado and Mike Gonzales;-and nephew, Antonio Alvarado.

Surviving him is his beloved wife of 47 years:-Maria Elena Barreda; sons and daughters:-Ricardo Barreda, Cynthia Elena Barreda, Rene Hipolito (Magda) Barreda and Elsa Diana (Michael) Mendoza as well as his adored grandchildren:-Isaac Miguel Mendoza, Nicolas Esteban Mendoza, Ava Sophia Barreda and Cristian Joel Barreda.-He is further survived by his loving sisters:-Consuelo "Chelo" Barreda and Olivia Alvarado.

Given his affection for family, survivors further include mother-in-law Elida "Lila" Flores; siblings-in-law: Heberto Q. Benavides, Roberto Flores, Jr., Magda Flores, M.E. "Tina" Gonzales, Ruben (Marti) Flores, Melba (David) Quintanilla; nieces, nephews and many life-long friends.

Polo left a legacy of a strong work ethic, faithfulness to family and faith in God, aiming to instill personal confidence and pride amongst his children and grandchildren.
