Hilda Negrete

Hilda Jimenez Negrete, 69, passed away on March 25, 2014. She was known for loving the kitchen, her children, and most of all her grandchildren. Hilda will be greatly missed. Hilda is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Humberto Negrete; her in laws, Mr. Julian Negrete and Mrs. Maria Cantu; sister in law, Elvia Tamez; brothers in law, Julian Negrete and Victor Gonzalez. She is survived by her daughters, Lydia Marie (Dean) Johnson, Hilda Negrete, Cecilia (Ernesto) Liendo; son, Humberto Negrete, Jr.; grandchildren, Carolina Salazar, Cesar Salazar, Charles Johnson, Michael Negrete, Alyssa Hullinger, Alan Hullinger, Brandon Hullinger, Brooke Negrete; and sister in law, Amelia Gonzalez; siblings: Homero (Elodia)Jimenez, Humberto (Judith)Jimenez, Hector (Jan)Jimenez, Meli Jimenez, and Herminia (Raul Rene) Alvarez; she is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Special thanks to all who kept Hilda in their thoughts and prayers. We cannot thank you enough for the care and love that you've shared with our family. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, Friday, the 28th of March 2014 with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. The funeral service will take place Saturday 29th of March 2014 at Laredo First Assembly of God Church at 10 a.m. with departure from the funeral home taking place at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held at the Veteran's Section of the Laredo City Cemetery.
