Hilda Idema Gonzalez, 73, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 7, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juventino Antonio and Elvira Gonzalez. She is survived by her husband Victor M. Gonzalez, Sr.; children, Victor M. Gonzalez, Jr., Gary Albert (Connie) Bailey, Vera A. (Andrew H.) Lopez; grandchildren, Melissa Lopez, Joe L. Garza, Daniel (Jessica) Bailey, Ryan Bailey; great-grandchildren, Gage Garza, Josiah Sanchez, Jocelina Sanchez, Jeremiah Sanchez, Carter Bailey; brother Juventino Antonio (Alicia) Gonzalez, Jr.; sisters, Elvia (Antonio Evaristo) Gonzalez, and Rosario E. (Roy) Cavazos. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 6 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 departing the funeral home at 8 a.m. to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be: Joe Garza, Gary Bailey, Antonio Gonzalez, Hector Gonzalez, Robert Gonzalez, and Juventino Gonzalez, Jr. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
