HERMILA M. CRUZ August 08, 1926- October 17, 2015 Hermila M. Cruz, age 89, passed away on October 17, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 08, 1926 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Hermila will be deeply missed by her loving family and precious friends. May God grant her eternal rest. Hermila is survived by her loving spouse, Carlos Cruz Betancourt; sons, Dr. Carlos Cruz, Jr. (Julia), and Marvin Cruz Morales (Lisa Goodman); grandchildren, Amanda Cruz, Ryan Cruz and Jason Cruz. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Rosary will commence at 7 p.m. A Chapel Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow at the Veteran's Section of the Laredo City Cemetery.
