"I found that peace at the end of the day.-Lift up your hearts and peace to thee.-God wanted me now; He set me free!"
Mr. Hector Alonzo Ortiz, 77, entered the arms of his loving father in heaven on Sunday, January 31, 2010 in his home surrounded by his loving, caring, and adoring wife and daughters.
Mr. Ortiz was the patriarch of a beautiful and loving family who to the day of his passing were with him at his side.-He married his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Eudelia S. Ortiz.-Together they had only four daughters.-He taught them several trades as they were growing up thus forming them to become well rounded women who could handle just about anything.-His daughters were his pride and joy, as well as his family who were always his highest priority.-A gentle man whose sense of humor could never be forgotten, he was always the first person to pack his bags and fly to Las Vegas, where he enjoyed traveling on occasion.--
Hector worked as a cement mason and later worked for Trans Texas in the oil industry from which he retired in 1996.-He was an avid fisherman and hunter.-A great man whom we respected and loved has gone to his heavenly reward and although we are left with a hole in our hearts, we know God has given him the rest from his illness and will mend our hearts with due time.-We love you daddy, rest in peace.
