Guillermo Lopez, Jr.

September 11, 1954 — June 28, 2012

Guillermo Lopez, Jr., (Junior to everyone) age 57, passed away on the 28th of June 2012 after a very long illness.-

Guillermo was born in Laredo on the 11th of September of 1954 as the first born to Mary Alice Galvan Lopez and Guillermo Lopez.

Guillermo was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tomas Enrique.

Junior is survived by his siblings, which include his twin sister: Mara Teresa (Alan) Hill of Calgary, Alberta; Jose Gerardo (Scott Brown) Lopez of Brazil; Laura Alicia (Roberto) Haynes, Francisco Agustn (Adriana) Lopez of Laredo, Ana Margarita Mitchell of South Carolina and sister-in-law: Lupita (Tomas ") Lopez,.-Junior was very proud of each of his nieces and nephews;-Lisa Lopez, Lilia Alejandra and Alicia Haynes, Tomas Lopez, Ylsse, Ari, and Benjamn Lopez, Mara Shipley and Brianna Mitchell.-He cherished a special bond with his cousins Barbara and Tom Galvan, his aunt Marta Galvan and his special "pal", uncle Dan Galvan.-He never forgot his cousins Linda Galvan, Danny Galvan, and Patty Davidson and their families; his unending love extended to his aunts and uncles in and near Alice, Texas: Hector (Gloria) Lopez, Gloria Trevino, Emma Vidaurri, Alfonso Trevino, Francisco (Grace) Lopez, Lucila Wing and numerous cousins.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to his caregiver Maricela Cobo, the staff at Retama Manor West and Laredo Specialty Hospital, and Dr. Milton Haber for caring for Junior.-A special thank you is extended to his friends from the neighborhood who would stop in and visit and listen to his jokes or just watch television with him: Sara Sweatt and family, Temo and Vctor Saenz, Roberto Rodrguez, and Ramiro Velasquez.-Junior looked forward to reading his letters from Roxanne Haynes".thank you for thinking of him.

The family wishes to express their most heartfelt appreciation to his loving and most precious sister Laura and his best pal and brother Pancho for the special care and everlasting love and friendship he enjoyed all these years.

Pallbearers will be: Francisco Lopez, Marco Benavides, Robert Rodrguez, Oscar Rodrguez, Arturo Murillo and Alfredo Meza.
