It is with great sadness that the family of Guadalupe Parra announces her passing.
Guadalupe Parra, 90, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
Guadalupe Parra was born in Laredo, Texas and devoted her life to her faith and her family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who lived a simple but full life and was known for her warm and compassionate personality. Many knew her as “Grandma Lupe” because of her selfless ability to love and nurture anyone who came into her life. She enjoyed attending gatherings and celebrations and loved holidays because it brought together family and friends. Grandma Lupe always had a smile on her face and laughter in her heart. She was a strong woman and a devout follower of the Virgen de Guadalupe. She loved gardening and had a great love for her pets, Buddy and Bubba. The cherished memories of her will live in our hearts forever.
Time for us to part now, we won’t say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky.
Every waking moment and
all your whole life through
Just look for me and love me,
as you know I loved you.
Just wish me near to you,
and I'll be there with you.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Aurelia A. Parra; sisters, Catalina De La Rosa and Cleotilde Soliz; and brothers, Gilberto Parra, Apolonio Parra, and Ricardo Parra.

(Elvia) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Jeanette (Jeff Goebel) Gonzalez, Selina (Rene) Mendiola, and Johnny Gonzalez; as well as her soon to be great-grandson.
