Guadalupe Martinez

Mrs. Guadalupe Martinez, 83, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 23, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dionicio and Blasa Gomez; her husband, Ruben Martinez; and her daughter, Anna Laura Falciola.

She is survived by her son Ruben (Irma) Martinez, Jr. and granddaughter Erica Martinez; her daughter Sylvia Sapien and grandsons, Nicholas A. Sapien, Matthew A. Sapien, Samuel A. Sapien; her grandchildren, whom she raised as her own, Angela Falciola, and Ricardo Falciola. She is also survived by numerous loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 26, 2017 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2017 departing the funeral home at 8:00 a.m. to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Ruben Martinez, Jr., Nicholas A. Sapien, Arturo Casarez, Robert Casarez, Rogelio Martinez, Alberto Bertani, and Ricardo Falciola.
