Mrs. Graciela R. Mata, 83, passed away November 17, 2014 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Mrs. Graciela R. Mata was a secretary for Central Power and Light Company. She also co-owned the B & H Ranch in Duval County with her husband. Mrs. Mata was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Homero L. Mata, her parents, Porfiro and Filia Ramirez, and her sister Fantina Kuzma, and brother Porfiro Ramierz Jr. She is survived by her beloved children, her daughter Belinda (David) Chamness of Portland, Oregon, and her son, Homero L. Mata Jr., of Gainesville, Florida, and her granddaughters, Sarah Chamness of Anaheim, California, and Stephanie Chamness of Beaverton, Oregon. She is also survived by her sister, Raquel N. Trevio of San Antonio, Texas, brother-in-law Dr. Carlos (JoAnn) Mata, and sister-in-law (J.J.) Arma Mata, as well as nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The family will receive condolences the evening of Monday the 1st of December 2014 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel, 719 Loring at Cortez, from 5 to 9 in the evening; with the recitation of the Rosary at 7 that evening. Funeral services will commence at 9:40 in the morning of Tuesday the 2nd of December 2014 departing the chapel to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in the morning. Rite of Committal and Interment will be held in the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
