GLORIA SALINAS

NOVEMBER 07, 1927 – MARCH 17, 2019

Mrs. Gloria Salinas, 91, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, March 17, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Margarito and Reynalda Polanco; daughter, San Juanita Ortiz; and her siblings, Alma Oralia Carrales, Elifalet Carrales, Eluid Carrales, Francisco Carrales, and Maria E. Medina.

Left to cherish her memory are: her loving husband of 67 years of marriage, Marcelo Salinas; daughter, Gloria (Dr. Luis M.) Benavides; son-in-law, Mike (Mary Jane) Ortiz; grandchildren, Michael (Syndi) Ortiz, Tami (David) Vasquez, Jacqueline (Juan) Garza, Candice (Bobby) Bunney, Luis D. (Heather) Benavides, and Omar (Norma) Benavides; great-grandchildren: Jada Garza, Jordan Garza, Josiah Garza, Marcelo Vasquez, Javier Vasquez, Juliana Vasquez, Adam Bunney, Viviana Bunney, Gabriel Benavides, Lucas Benavides, Dante Rodriguez and Autumn Molina; siblings, Juanita (Pedro) Garza, Eloy Y. (Maria Rita) Carrales, Leonardo Carrales; as well as in-laws, Marcela Carrales, Sandra Carrales, Graciela Carrales, Ruth Reno, Ysidro (Carol) Salinas, Homer (Blanca) Salinas, and Ramona (Homero) Salinas.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday evening, March 21, 2019 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, March 22, 2019 departing at 9:00 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to St. Theresa of the Infant Child Jesus in 235 S.W. 4th Street, Premont, TX for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Premont City Cemetery.
