Gloria Garcia, 61, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her father Rodolfo Medina Sr., and her sister Elia Imelda Medina.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Valentin Garcia, Jr.; mother Eulalia Medina; children, Melissa (Robert +) Garcia-Gomez, Veronica (Michael Castillo) Garcia, Susana (Gilberto Ancira) Garcia, Valentin (Minerva) Garcia III, Sandy (Luis Castillo) Garcia; 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rodolfo (Teresa) Medina, Jr., Reyes (Nora) Medina, Rolando Medina, Angelica (Antonio Rodriguez) Medina, Elsa (Ramon) Garcia, and Maricela (Salvador Martinez) Medina.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday evening, November 26, 2019 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday morning, November 27, 2019 departing at 8:40 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
