Gloria Barrera

Gloria Rendón Barrera, age 90, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 13, 2018. She was born in Laredo, Texas on October 1, 1927.

She lived in Laredo her entire life and was preceded in death by her parents, Camilo and Aurora Rendón, husband, Jose Barrera, brother Ruben (Alicia) Rendón and sister Aurora (Enrique) Ponce.

Mrs. Barrera is survived by various nephews and nieces Ruben (Norma) Rendón Jr., Laura (Ray) French, Esther (Ricky) Melendez, Maria Geno (Pablo) de Pavia, Lisa Ramos, and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday, July 17th from 8 to 10 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring Ave.; where a Chapel Service for the Deceased will commence at 10 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.
