Gilberto Jose Martinez

Gilberto Martinez, 83, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom in McKinney, Texas on Thursday, January 13, 2022 while he was sleeping.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Jose and Alicia Martinez; son, Ricardo David Martinez; and brother-in-law, John Orfila.

Left to cherish his memory are two children; Gilberto (Priscilla) Martinez Jr., and a daughter, Lucy Lynn (James) Towle; along with his beloved grandchildren, Brianna, Zachery, Philip, Kirstin, Alysha, and Colby; his brother, Oscar (Elsa) Martinez and sisters Denise (James) Richardson, Laura Orfila, Sylvia (Carlos) Perez and their families.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 9 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Due to the COVID pandemic, the family understands many who love Mr. Martinez will not be able to attend. For those who do attend his mass or burial, a mask and social distancing is requested.
