GILBERTO LUIS RUBIO FEBRUARY 17, 1951 - MAY 26, 2015 Gilberto Luis Rubio, 64, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Mr. Rubio is preceded in death by his parents, Avelino and Margarita Rubio; and his brother Hector Avelino Rubio. He is survived by his sibings, Gloria R. (Armando) Pea, Ricardo Rubio, Juan (Tayde) Rubio, Ernesto M. (Sara) Rubio, Carlos (Diana) Rubio, and Samuel (Olga) Rubio. He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews, numerous grand-nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. The Rubio family would like to give a special thanks to Methodist Hospital in Houston, Laredo Specialty Hospital, Doctor's Hospital, his physicians, nurses, and staff for their care and attention given to his medical needs. Visitation will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015 departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
