Gilberto Flores

Gilberto R. Flores, 89, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010.

Gilberto proudly served his country in WWII in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He received various conduct and service medals. After his tour ended, Gilberto established himself as a typewriter mechanic, having serviced many typewriters from schools, businesses, and homes. His zest for life never left him even during these lasts days. He will be missed dearly even though we know he rests in the loving arms of the heavenly father.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Magdalena Flores; his daughter, Rosalinda Guerra; his sons, Gilberto and Peter Flores; and son-in-law, Luis Tamez.

Mr. Flores is survived by his wife Irma G. Flores; daughters, Lamar (Philip) Willman, Alma S. (Mario) Lugo, Ruby (Saul) Carreon, Patricia (Rick) Trevino; sons, Fred (Christy) Flores, Paul Edward Flores; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; as well as, numerous other relatives and friends.
