Franicsca Gloria-Casarez

The Lord has gained an angel, when she peacefully passed away at her home on Saturday, September 22, 2012.-Mrs. Casarez, 82, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Her interests included family and traveling.-She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members including her husband, until he passed away at age 80.

There wasn't a day that we couldn't taste love through her cooking.-Selfish is a verb she could just not express.-With open arms she greeted the world.-You could feel her heart in her palms; as her hands held you in the warmest embrace, and through her smile, words of insatiable affection would decorate the space she would share.-You could not help but return her greeting.-That is why Francis, the great-great grandmother, the great-grandmother, the grandmother, the mother, the force that created and united our family will be forever missed; but we stay with her immortal love.

Francis is preceded in death by her parents, Fernando and Hilaria Gloria, husband: Isabel Casarez; son, Vicente Casarez; brothers and sisters:-Natividad (Constantino) Salinas, Maria (Eradio) Serna, Jose (Trinidad) Gloria, Jose "Viro" (Antonia) Gloria and Jesus (Cholita) Gloria.

Surviving her is her brother:-Rev. Msgr. Fr. Jose Refugio Gloria; daughter in law: Irma Casarez; children:-Daniel Casarez, Raul (Isabel) Casarez, Teresa (Alex) Rodriguez, David (Elvira) Casrez, Esther Irene Casarez, Elena (Jerry) Mireles, Susana (Patrick) Lopez, Benito (Araceli) Casarez, Samuel (Rosalia) Casarez; 30 grand children, 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and is further survived by nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.

We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts Dr. Carlos N. Casas, Dr. Ricardo Cigarroa and Flora Chavez (caregiver) for their loving medical attention and care given to our beloved Francis.

Pallbearers will be:-Daniel Casarez, Raul Casarez, David Casarez, Benito Casarez, Samuel Casarez, Alex Rodriguez, Patrick Lopez and Jerry Mireles.
