Francisco J. Lugo

October 19, 1956 – March 5, 2025

Francisco J. Lugo, 68, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Paco was a man of great strength, deep love, and unwavering faith. Born in 1956, he lived a life full of adventure and passion for the great outdoors. He was happiest when he was in nature, hunting, volunteering at his church, San Francisco Javier, leading within the Cursillo Movement, and spending time with his family.

Above all else, Paco was a devoted husband, father, and friend. Paco’s deep faith was the guiding force in his life, shaping his unwavering generosity and love for others. He lived by the belief that kindness and service were expressions of that faith, always giving back to his family and community with a selfless heart and a quiet strength that uplifted those around him. Paco’s faith was his greatest source of comfort, giving him unwavering peace throughout life and his fight with cancer.

He faced his battle with cancer and the end with no fear, trusting fully in the promise of the life to come, knowing and trusting that His plan would guide him safely into His kingdom. He faced life’s challenges with a quiet determination and steadfast spirit, never letting hardship diminish his love or kindness. His faith continues to inspire his loved ones into the practice of giving back and having a relationship with God.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Rodolfo and Francisca Lugo; sibling, Rodolfo Lugo Valles.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Patricia Lugo and his children: Francisco (Monica Solis) Lugo Jr., Kris Patricia (Aldo Alanis) Lugo, Dr. Lizette Alejandra (Dr. Patrick Palacios) Lugo, and Priscilla Kay Lugo; grandchildren, Ricardo Francisco Saldaña, Kamila Alexandra Saldaña, Katia Emma Alanis, and Francisco Javier Lugo III; siblings, Irma (Roberto †) Guajardo, Homero (Dulce Maria) Lugo, Maria Antonieta (Ernesto Rodriguez) Lugo; sister-in-law, Evelina Lugo as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
