Francisco Chavez, 75, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Angel and San Juanita Chavez; siblings, Maria Antonia Chavez, Jose Angel Chavez, Jose Maria Chavez, Maria Chavez, and Maria Jova Chavez.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Lydia (Robert) Rogers, Armandina Chavez, Francisco (Susana) Chavez, Jr., Elma (Brian) Negrete, Christopher (Monica) Chavez, Jose (Samantha) Chavez; his companion, Maria Cristina Segura; stepchildren, Adriana Gonzalez Lopez and Idalia Gonzalez Flores.  He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, along with other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, April 30, 2023 from 5pm to 9pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, May 1, 2023 departing at 9:00 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Luis Antonio Perez, Jr., Abraham Jacob Zapata, Christopher Chavez, Jr., Caleb Chavez, Jose Andres Gonzalez, Victoriano Ortiz, Jr., Christopher Chavez, and Jose Angel Chavez.
