Francisca Holguin

Francisca M. Holguin passed away peacefully on Thursday June 25, 2020 at the age of 81.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel “Cuate” Holguin; brother, Joe Mendiola Jr.; brothers-in-law, Jesus Holguin, Jose Guadalupe Martinez, Manuel Holguin, and Jesus Raul Alvarado; sisters-in-law, Aida Holguin, Clarita Holguin, Ofelia Cabello, and Ramona H. Alvarado; and niece, Maria Isabel Martinez.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Daniel Holguin Jr. and Reynaldo (Ana Laura) Holguin; grandchildren, Jorge (Claire) Paredes, Daniel Holguin III, Christina Holguin, Belinda Holguin, Jaime Holguin, Rebecca C. Holguin, Brittany N. (Sergio) Quintana, Bridget N. Holguin, and Reynaldo Holguin Jr.; great-granddaughters, Victoria Paredes, Mia A. Holguin, and Bella Reyes; great-grandson, Jose Daniel “JD” Quintana; and former daughter-in-law, Vilma Yolanda Holguin. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Manuel Mendiola, Rosendo Mendiola, Teresa Martinez, and Maria Esperanza (James) Jones all of San Antonio, TX; brothers-in-law, Robert (Gloria) Holguin of San Angelo, TX and Samuel (Jeanetta) Holguin of Cedar Park, TX; sister-in-law, Virginia Holguin of Laredo, TX, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday, July 1st 2020, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Prayer Service will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will depart at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday morning, July 2nd 2020, from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery for her Interment at the family plot at 10 a.m.

Pallbearers will be: Daniel Holguin Jr., Reynaldo Holguin, Daniel Holguin III, Jaime Holguin, Sergio Quintana, and Emmanuel Reyes.
