Foxhall Alexander Parker, V., 80, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. Foxhall (Alex) carried on the military tradition in his family that began with Foxhall Alexander Parker I who was a commodore in the navy. Alex proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy for 4 years, followed by 21 years in the U.S. Air Force as a TSGT, and served during the Vietnam War. He received numerous awards while serving overseas as well as the United States. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Yolanda Sanchez Parker, his parents Elizabeth Elswick Watson, Clarence Watson and Foxhall Alexander Parker IV. Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Holga Parker; children, Christiane (Jerry) Brinkley, Anna Manning, Lydia (Robert) DeGaetano, and Lisa (Michael) Garcia; grandchildren, Shawn and Elijah Rendon, Christelle (Nathan) Heiman, Giovanna (Adriano), Dominic, and Aidan DeGaetano, and Justin (Jaime), Mason, and Dylan Garcia; 3 great-grandchildren Beckett and Landon Heiman and Juliet Garcia; brother, John William (Janet) Watson as well as by other loved relatives and friends. The family will be receiving condolences on Monday evening, September 28, 2015 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. where a Vigil for the Deceased & Rosary will commence at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday morning, September 29, 2015 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Pallbearers will be: Robert DeGaetano, Dominic DeGaetano, Aidan DeGaetano, Michael Garcia, Justin Garcia, and Dylan Garcia. The Honorary Pallbearer will be Mason Garcia. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the US Airforce Honor Guard and the American Legion Post 59.
