Filiberto Morales

Filiberto G. Morales ("Beto"), 88, entered God's heavenly kingdom on Saturday, June 16, 2012.

Beto was born in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, and lived a large portion of his life in Laredo, TX. He was a loving husband to his wife, Maria, and a wonderful father to his son, Luis and his Luis' wife, Le Anne. Beto was generous with his love and kindness and shared both with family and friends. While Beto's journey here on earth is finished, his memory lives on within the hearts of those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Morales Diaz and Hortencia Guerra de Morales; his brothers, Jose, Luis, Cesar and Armando; his sister, Alicia; and his wife, Maria.

Filiberto is survived by his sister, Bertha; son, Luis, and his wife, Le Anne; a large extended family; and many close friends whom he also considered family.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring Avenue at Cortez Street from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m.
