Mr. Fernando Hernandez, 61, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family at his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Domingo T. and Paula V. Hernandez; twin brother Armando Hernandez, brother: Eduardo Hernandez.

Surviving him are his daughters: Monica C. Hernandez and Mayra E. Hernandez; grandchildren: Sebastian and Adan Contreras; brothers: Juan A. (Elizabeth) Hernandez, Anselmo Hernandez, Domingo T. Hernandez Jr., Lidia (Abel) Jimenez, Emma (Vicente) Casarez, Alejandro (Cindy) Hernandez as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez, with a Rosary at 7 p.m.

All services will conclude in the chapel for a cremation to follow at a later date.
