Mr. Fernando Chapa, 50, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 02, 2016.

Fernando was born on July 11, 1965 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamps. Mexico. He came to Laredo at the age of 1 and resided here his whole life. He worked for 25 years for Pizza Hut as a store manager, retired, and then devoted 10 years to H.E.B. Plus as a seafood lead.

Fernando was a wonderful son, husband, father, uncle, and cousin. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Armando Chapa Maycotte and Ofelia Ramos Espinoza; his in-laws, Daniel Torres, Sr. and Lily Estela Elizalde Escobedo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Adrianna Yvette Torres Chapa; his children, Luis Fernando (20), Ofelia Yvette (19), Savannah Gabrielle (18), and Lily Renee Chapa (3); and his sister-in-law Cristela Lily (Pedro) Gonzalez. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be celebrated on Monday evening, July 11, 2016 at 7:00 pm; with a visitation from 3:00 pm till 9:00 pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, July 12, 2016 at 10:00 am at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church, 2502 Zaragoza St., Laredo, TX., 78040. There will be no procession from funeral home; everyone is encouraged to meet at church.
