Federico Arreazola, 81, was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, neighbor, friend, and educator. He joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, May 01, 2022.
He was preceded in death by: Vicente Arreazola (Father), Trinidad Arreazola (Mother), Vicente Arreazola (Brother), Thelma Perez (Sister) and Alvaro Briceño (Brother-in-Law).
Left to cherish his memory are: Rosalinda Sanchez Arreazola (Spouse), Aracely Arreazola (Daughter), Abel Arreazola (Son), David V Arreazola (Son), Melissa Arreazola (Daughter-in-Law), David V Arreazola Jr. (Grandson), Layla Arreazola (Granddaughter), Kayla Arreazola (Granddaughter), Aracely Arreazola (Sister), Irma Briceño (Sister), and Norma Arreazola (Sister-in-Law); as well as by many nieces and nephews, other loved relatives and friends.
Federico attended Laredo Junior College and Texas A&I before completing his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Texas Pan American. After teaching for 3 years at Harlingen ISD, he successfully coached tennis and taught science at Nixon High School for 12 years from 1971 to 1983. In 1983, he was part of a team of teachers that inaugurated Dr. Leonides Gonzalez Cigarroa High School. His pride was in his school and students, and he shared his passion for science and learning with thousands of students in his over 25 years at Cigarroa High School.
The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, May 04, 2022 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning, May 05, 2022 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Abel Arreazola, David V Arreazola, David V Arreazola Jr., Enrique Daniel Sanchez Jr, Alberto Milera, and Ernesto Arriaga.
