Fausto Sosa, 63, a prominent attorney from Laredo, Texas, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

Fausto was strong, loyal and supportive always helping those around him. He was a great legal mind and well respected and loved by the legal community as well as everyone who knew him well. He loved his career so much that he never worked a day in his life. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in passing by: his parents Oralia Sosa and Fausto Sosa Sr.

Left to cherish his memory are: his children, Fausto Abraham Sosa, and Fausto Sosa III.; his siblings Martha E. (Enrique) Villarreal, Norma A. (George †) Rocha, and Dr. Fernando (Anali) Sosa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, friends, and colleagues.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, July 21, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday morning, July 22, 2023 departing at 9 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to St. Agustin Cathedral for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Dr. Fernando Sosa, Enrique E. Villarreal, Fernando Andres Sosa, Mario Delgado, Haroeel Godines, Armando Garza, Angel Moreno, and Ramon Banda.
