Faustino Hinojoza, Jr., 96, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, September 13, 2020.
Faustino was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He proudly served and defended our country in the US Army during WWII and reached the rank of Sergeant. He was stationed in the Pacific Theater. Faustino worked diligently for over 25 years at Union National Bank.
Ranch life, playing baseball and softball, and spending quality time with his loved ones were his favorite endeavors. He was a hardworking, loving, compassionate man who above all was chastely dedicated to his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Faustino and Ester Hinojoza; his sisters, Elida (Geronimo) Guzman and Berta (Guadalupe) Bazan; his brother, Miguel Hinojoza; and his beloved children, Faustino Hinojoza, III and Rosario Hinojoza.
Left to cherish his memory by his loving wife, Rosario Garcia Hinojoza; his children, Miguel A. Hinojoza, Susana A. Hinojoza, and Faustino J. Hinojoza; grandchildren, Sebastian Avila and Miguel A. Hinojoza; and his sister, Alicia (Gilberto †) Lopez; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, September 16, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning, September 17, 2020 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Miguel A. Hinojoza, Faustino J. Hinojoza, Sebastian Avila, Miguel A. Hinojoza, Gilberto Lopez, Rolando Lopez, Jorge Bazan, and Ricardo Guzman.
